Thailand Arrival Card (TDAC): free official form
For every field and the full eight-step walkthrough, see how to fill out the TDAC.
What is the Thailand Arrival Card?
TDAC is the online arrival card that replaces the paper form; it is not a visa. Since 1 May 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land or sea must submit it. Thai nationals do not need one. Submit within 3 days including arrival day, and submit a new card for each entry. The official form is free at tdac.immigration.go.th. See the official manual and official FAQ for who must submit and when.
Have these details ready
- Passport and personal details.
- Travel details and accommodation in Thailand.
- Health declaration: the system prompts when countries visited in the prior 2 weeks, boarding country, nationality or flight are listed by the Ministry of Public Health.
Complete the form in English. Group submissions can include up to 10 people.
How to complete the arrival card
Open “Arrival Card” on the official website, enter passport, personal, trip, accommodation and health information, then preview your details. Enter your email, accept the terms, submit and save the TDAC. The official manual explains this sequence.
Use the official free service
Be careful with unofficial paid sites. The official TDAC is free at tdac.immigration.go.th. Our linked helper is an independent tool that pre-fills the official form; it is not the official site.
Keep arrival preparation separate from your visa
Start by checking which entry scheme or visa fits your passport, purpose and planned stay. Then prepare TDAC for the arrival itself. The form’s passport, travel and accommodation sections describe the journey; submitting those details does not replace checking the conditions for exemption, Visa on Arrival or a visa.
Review each traveller’s identity information even when using the group option. The group limit describes the submission feature, while each traveller’s visa or entry option still needs separate attention. Keep the confirmation and QR code available after the final preview.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need TDAC if I already have a Thai visa?
TDAC is an arrival card, not a visa. All non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land or sea must submit it before arrival. Thai nationals do not need it. A new TDAC is required for each entry.
How early can I submit the TDAC?
Submit within 3 days before arrival, including arrival day — up to 72 hours before. Prepare passport, personal, travel and accommodation information, complete the form in English and keep the confirmation and QR code.
Which TDAC details cannot be edited after submission?
Use “Update Arrival Card” for editable details. The official FAQ says Full Name, Passport Number, Nationality and Date of Birth cannot be updated. The 2025.05.00 release notes differ on passport-number editing; if unsure, submit a new TDAC. The latest submission is valid. Recheck the identity information, including any details captured with the MRZ scan option, before submitting.
Can families submit TDAC together?
Yes. Group submission supports up to 10 people. Prepare the passport, personal, travel and accommodation details for everyone in the submission, complete the information in English and follow the health declaration prompts.
Optional help with the form
The official TDAC is free, and you can complete it yourself at tdac.immigration.go.th. If you travel to Thailand often, the /tdac/ service is an optional, independent paid helper (€5 one-time) that saves your details so you don’t retype them every trip; most one-time visitors don’t need it. For that service, read tips to fill the TDAC faster and TDAC Auto-Fill help.
