TDAC for families and groups: how to submit

Who needs TDAC and when?

All non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land or sea must submit TDAC before arrival. Thai nationals do not need it. A new TDAC is required for every entry.

Submit within 3 days before arrival, including arrival day — up to 72 hours before. Keep the confirmation and QR code.

Prepare and submit the group arrival card

  1. Prepare everyone’s details

Have passport and personal information, travel details and Thailand accommodation ready. Group submission supports up to 10 people.

  2. Complete the form in English

Open tdac.immigration.go.th and choose “Arrival Card”. Enter passport and personal details, trip and accommodation information, and complete the health declaration following the system prompts.

  3. Recheck identity information before submission

Review every traveller’s passport and personal details before the final preview. See the identity-editing notice if you have already submitted.

  4. Preview, submit and keep the confirmation

Review the information before submitting. Save or receive the confirmation and keep the QR code available.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can a TDAC group submission include?

Group submission supports up to 10 people. Complete the information in English.

What details should the group prepare?

Prepare passport and personal information, travel details, accommodation in Thailand and the health declaration. Follow the system prompts for your journey.

Can I edit identity details after submitting?

Use “Update Arrival Card” for editable details. The official FAQ says Full Name, Passport Number, Nationality and Date of Birth cannot be updated. The 2025.05.00 release notes differ on passport-number editing; if unsure, submit a new TDAC. The latest submission is valid.

Is the official TDAC free?

The official TDAC is free at tdac.immigration.go.th. It is an arrival card, not a visa.

Does a TDAC group submission give everyone the same permitted stay?

No. TDAC is an arrival card, not a visa. A group submission collects arrival information, while nationality, purpose and planned stay determine which entry option each traveller should check. Review those conditions separately from completing the group form in English and keeping the confirmation and QR code.

The group feature supports up to 10 people and the form is completed in English. Prepare the information for everyone before working through the submission. Review every traveller’s information at the final preview.

Check entry options separately from organising the group card. Nationality, travel purpose and planned stay determine which entry scheme or visa a traveller should verify. TDAC is not a visa, and a shared submission is not evidence that every person in the group has the same permitted stay.

For a later entry, prepare a new TDAC. Keep this requirement separate from saving the current trip’s confirmation: retaining the QR code is part of being ready for the present arrival, while each new entry needs a new arrival card. See the official manual and FAQ in Sources for the submission process described here.

Add Other Travelers: build the group one person at a time

The official manual uses “Add Other Travelers” to add another person and “Same as Previous Traveler” to reuse applicable information. Repeat the process for Traveller 1, Traveller 2 and the remaining people in your group, up to a maximum of 10 per submission. Check that any reused details apply to the next person before continuing; each traveller still needs their own passport and personal information recorded.

Children and infants need their own TDAC information too. The official FAQ says all travellers, including infants and children, require a TDAC. You may submit on behalf of family members, children or group travellers, so a parent can include a child in the group process. See Does my child need their own TDAC? Read entry rules for children separately for embassy guidance about supporting documents; the arrival card does not settle those document questions.

Who may submit, and what happens after review?

Tour operators, tour leaders and authorised travel agencies may submit, according to the official FAQ. Whoever completes the form should prepare the passport, journey, accommodation and health information for every person before starting: the FAQ says there is no save-and-finish-later feature. Email is needed to receive the TDAC, and the manual places it at the submission step.

Use Preview to review the group information and Edit to correct it before accepting the Terms and Conditions and submitting. Download the TDAC or retrieve it from the email. Printing is not required if you can show the QR document on a phone; a printed copy is useful if you will not have a device. For a later entry, each traveller needs a new TDAC.

Plan the family’s arrival route

For a family arriving by road or boat, read TDAC for land and sea arrivals. For a flight, follow the airport arrival steps. Review border entry, overstay and reporting guidance alongside each traveller’s permitted stay.
