How to fill the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) faster
Every non-Thai traveller entering Thailand by air, land or sea needs a Thailand Digital Arrival Card for each arrival. The official form at tdac.immigration.go.th is free, but it has more than 25 fields and fiddly dropdowns, and you have to repeat it every trip. Here is how to get it done quickly.
Not the official TDAC website. Asia Tour Desk is an independent helper and is not affiliated with the Thai Immigration Bureau or the Thai government. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card itself is free at the official site tdac.immigration.go.th. Our optional €5 tool only auto-fills that official form for you; you review and submit it yourself.
Step by step
- Prepare your details. Have your passport, arrival date, flight or vehicle number, boarding country, Thai accommodation address, purpose of travel and email address ready before you open the form.
- Open the official TDAC form. Go to tdac.immigration.go.th (free) within 72 hours before your arrival and choose Arrival Card.
- Fill the personal and travel sections. Type your details or run your Asia Tour Desk auto-fill script, which enters your saved passport, residence, travel, accommodation and contact details for you.
- Complete the health declaration. Answer the health questions yourself. They depend on the countries you visited recently, so they are never pre-filled.
- Review and submit. Check every field against your passport, preview, accept the terms and submit.
- Save the QR code. Download the TDAC or keep the confirmation email with the QR code to show at immigration.
The fields that slow people down
- Country and city dropdowns: the lists are long and filter as you type; a small spelling difference means no match.
- Accommodation address: province, district and sub-district are separate fields. Copy them from your booking confirmation before you start.
- Flight or vehicle number: use the number of the flight that lands in Thailand, not your first leg.
- Session timeouts on mobile: switching apps to look things up can reset the form, so prepare everything first.
Auto-fill the official form
If you travel to Thailand often, the Asia Tour Desk TDAC Auto-Fill saves your details once in your own browser and builds a small script that fills the official form for you:
- iPhone and iPad: an Apple Shortcut you run from Safari's Share menu.
- Android: two Chrome bookmarklets (Chrome limits bookmark length).
- Desktop: a bookmarklet or a paste into the browser console.
It costs €5 once per traveller profile. The TDAC itself stays free, and you can always fill it by hand instead. Setup details are in the help guide.
