TDAC form will not submit
The official TDAC FAQ gives two specific fixes: for 429, refresh the page and try again; for 0 Unknown Error, check your internet connection.
For other submission problems, general steps are to check your connection, retry later or use the free official TDAC website. Follow the TDAC form walkthrough for the normal submission steps, or TDAC errors and fixes for the FAQ’s other guidance.
QR or confirmation email never arrived
If you have not received the QR email, the official FAQ says to contact the Immigration Officer at the entry checkpoint. If you already downloaded the card or received an email, view your details there. The official manual explains downloading the TDAC; you can also download or print it from the email.
THIM passport scan stuck, for example at 95%
As general troubleshooting, retry the scan or update THIM from the official store. You can instead submit the same free TDAC on the official TDAC website. These are general options, not a diagnosis of why a scan stalled.
Khaosod English (media) reports that TDAC remains available on the bureau website as well as through THIM. See the THIM app guide for the sourced app information.
Wrong arrival date or name
The official FAQ says Update Arrival Card can change all fields except Full Name, Passport Number, Nationality and Date of Birth. You can update an arrival date. To correct one of those four identity fields, submit a new form. The most recent submission is valid.
See the TDAC update and error guide for the full FAQ guidance.
Submitting outside the arrival window
Submit within 3 days before arrival, including arrival day, according to the official FAQ. Plan your filing for that window.
Family or group submission problems
The official FAQ allows up to 10 travellers per submission. Every non-Thai traveller needs a TDAC, including infants and children; a parent can submit for a child. Prepare each traveller’s information and follow the family and group submission guide.
Fake paid sites: check the address
TDAC is free on the official site tdac.immigration.go.th. A paid helper is optional. Use the official website to submit the card yourself; see the guide to fake TDAC sites and paid helpers and the official submission manual.
Do I need both THIM and TDAC?
No: file once for the entry. THIM is a second channel for the same TDAC. TAT says THIM does not replace TDAC or add an arrival-card requirement. Khaosod English (media) reports that both channels remain available, and VisasNews (media) says a website submission does not need repeating in THIM. Read THIM app vs TDAC for the distinction.
Frequently asked questions
What should I do if the TDAC form will not submit?
For a 429 error, refresh and try again. For “0 Unknown Error”, check your internet connection, as the official FAQ advises. Otherwise, try again later or use the free official TDAC website. These general steps do not guarantee submission.
What if my TDAC QR or confirmation email never arrives?
The official FAQ says to contact the Immigration Officer at the entry checkpoint if the QR email has not arrived. If you already downloaded the card or received an email, view your details there.
What can I try if the THIM passport scan is stuck at 95%?
As general troubleshooting, retry or update the app from its official store. You can also submit the same free TDAC on the official website. See the THIM guide for app background.
Can I correct an arrival date or a name after submitting?
Use Update Arrival Card for editable details, including the arrival date. The official FAQ excludes Full Name, Passport Number, Nationality and Date of Birth; submit a new form to correct those fields. The most recent submission is valid.
When can I submit the TDAC?
Submit within 3 days before arrival, including arrival day, according to the official FAQ. Plan your submission for that window.
Can I submit one TDAC group form for my family?
Yes. The official FAQ allows up to 10 travellers per group submission. Every non-Thai traveller, including infants and children, needs a TDAC; a parent can submit for a child. See the family and group guide.
Do I need both THIM and TDAC?
No. THIM is a second channel for the same TDAC, not another arrival-card requirement. TAT says THIM does not replace TDAC; VisasNews (media) says a TDAC already filed on the website does not need to be filed again in THIM. File once for the entry.
Do I have to pay to fix or submit a TDAC?
No. TDAC is free on the official site tdac.immigration.go.th. Paid helpers are optional. Read how to identify the official site and paid helpers.
